9/19/22 – NHS Music: KMA, Night Rehearsal, Away Game

THANK YOU FOR HELPING TO “KEEP MUSIC ALIVE” AT NHS!
A big THANK YOU to all the parents who have generously volunteered time and given financially to support music at NHS! Only 33% of families have made a donation of any amount so far to KMA. Understandably, not every family is able to give. However, if you are able, any amount is GREATLY appreciated!

FREE TICKETS FOR UPCOMING CONCERTS

We are also offering “Thank You” Incentives for donations starting at $125, including:

  • Free concert tickets
  • Program recognition
  • Early entry to concerts

Make your donation THIS MONTH to ensure you receive ALL your benefits in time for the concerts on October 15th! Read more about KMA HERE, and donate online today!

What are KMA funds used for?

  • New instruments and repairs
  • Clinics and additional music instruction
  • Festivals and offsite performances
  • Sheet music
  • Other expenses not covered by the school district.

Note that KMA supports ALL instrumental music (orchestras, bands, jazz bands, chamber winds, guitar ensemble). Marching Band donations collected earlier this year support marching band expenses (food, uniforms, trucks, show design and music, coaching, etc.).

HAVE YOU SIGNED AND RETURNED YOUR INSTRUMENTAL MUSIC AGREEMENT (IMA)?

All music students should have received a paper class syllabus and “Keep Music Alive (KMA)” information. Student AND Parent are REQUIRED to go online and sign the Instrumental Music Agreement, verifying you have read the class syllabus.
