3/3/26 – Spring Concerts

SPRING FESTIVAL CONCERTS!
Spring is coming a little early to Northwood! Join us Wednesday, 3/4 and Thursday, 3/5 for two evenings of live music, presented by our bands and orchestras. Both concerts are FREE and will be held in the Northwood High School Theater at 7:00pm.

  • All Orchestras – Wednesday, March 4th, 7:00pm
  • All Bands – Thursday, March 5th, 7:00pm
  • If you are a Charter Oak level KMA donor, please check-in by 6:45pm for early seating

We need a few volunteers to hand out programs and direct people to their seats at both concerts. Please sign up HERE  if you are able to help. You will be able to reserve your seats early. Thank you for our support!

CSUF WINDS FESTIVAL, 3/7
Our Wind Symphony band will be joining high schools from across southern CA and performing at the CSUF Winds Festival on Saturday, March 7th. Friends and family are welcome and encouraged to come watch our performances at 3:00pm (Wind Symphony) in Meng Hall. The concert is free!

We could also use a five chaperones to assist our students that day. Transportation and food will be provided. Please click here if you are able to assist. Thank you for your support!

Transportation and dinner are provided for the students.

2026 MARCHING BAND CAMP: SAVE THE DATES! 
It’s never too early to start thinking about Marching Band Camp! Online registration is now open and can be found  HERE.   All events will be held on campus at NHS. ALL students, and all levels of music experience, are welcome; please share with friends! BAND CAMP IS REQUIRED FOR ALL MARCHING BAND AND COLOR GUARD PARTICIPANTS.

  • 2026 MARCHING BAND CAMP – August 6th and 7th, 10th-13th, 9am-4pm
  • LEADERSHIP* – August 4th, 5th  9:00am-3:30pm
  • NEW MEMBERS – Wednesday, August 5th, 12:30-3:30pm, NHS Room 501
  • COLOR GUARD – August 3rd, 4th & 5th (9:00 to 11:00 AM)

SUPPORT NORTHWOOD HIGH SCHOOL'S PRODUCTION OF MEAN GIRLS, February 11th to February 14th Northwood High School's upcoming production of Mean Girls, featuring a live pit orchestra! Showings are next Wednesday February 11th to Saturday February 14th at 6:45pm. Click here to purchase tickets. Hope to see you there! MARCHING BAND UNIFORM CLEANING PREP, 2/7 We are looking for volunteers to help us prepare our 200+ marching band uniforms for cleaning. 11/4/25 – Band Spectacular & Marching Band Banquet

BAND SPECTACULAR, WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 5th, IRVINE HIGH SCHOOL Northwood High School and University High school team up to host this city-wide event which will feature all 5 of the Irvine high schools performing their halftime shows, and all 6 middle schools joining the high school marching bands to play together on the field. Admission for spectators is $10 for an individual or $25 per family (up to 4). Tickets can be purchased at the event. We encourage elementary students to attend. Food and refreshments will be available for spectator purchase. This is our final performance of the year ...
