Jazz

After Marching Band season is over, students can audition for one of the four jazz groups. (Jazz I, Jazz II,  Jazz III, and Jazz IV)

Some additional details:

• Rehearsals start after marching band season is over, usually in November.
• Rehearsals will be during 0-period, for the remainder of the school year.
• Students must remain enrolled in one of the core ensembles (band or orchestra)
• Students must have been in the marching band that year.

We take our groups not only to our own stage but to local events and sometimes even professional venues, like Steamer’s Jazz Club and Cafe.
