WELCOME TO THE 2025 SEASON OF NHS MARCHING BAND & COLOR GUARD!
We are excited to kick off the school year with the 2025 Marching Band & Color Guard show, “The Music of Star Wars”. With over 215 members, the Timberwolf Marching Band will be one of the largest student groups on campus. This email contains all of the important information for Marching Band & Color Guard Camp and for the 2025 Season.
There is a pre-camp MANDATORY Information Meeting for parents and students in the NHS Theater – August 6th @ 6pm
Important Information to prepare for camp.

Sample Camp Contract (https://bit.ly/2025CampContractSAMPLE) This is just a sample. Your contract will be mailed to your home address for the parent and student to sign and submit at your uniform fitting appointment. The contracts will be mailed to the address provided in in the registration. The letter will be from TIMB in a white envelope and the contract will be printed on blue paper. The letter should arrive at your house by Monday, July 28th. If you don’t receive your contract by July 28th, please email TIMB.president@gmail.com

Color Guard Uniform Information (https://bit.ly/2025ColorGuardInfo) No need to sign up for a fitting — your CG coach will arrange this. The attached document has additional information regarding CG.
Marching Band & Color Guard Volunteer Signup. (https://bit.ly/2025MBVolunteerSignupALL) . We cannot run this wonderful program without parent volunteers and encourage all families to get involved. Volunteering is a fun way to support Marching Band and learn more about the great music program at Northwood High. Please help by signing up clicking on the link above
IMPORTANT BAND CAMP DATES
Pre-camp MANDATORY Information Meeting for parents and students in the NHS Theater – August 6 @ 6pm
Drumline and Pit Required Pre-Camp Rehearsal – August 4, 5, and 6 (9:00am-4:00pm)
Color Guard Require Pre Camp Rehearsals – August 4, 5, and 6 (8:00am-11:00am)
Library Staff, Monday August 4th (9 am to 12 pm)
Leadership, August 5th and 6th ( 9 am to 3:30 pm)
ALL New Members August 6th (12:30pm-3:30pm)
BAND CAMP for ALL members August 7, 8, 11-14 – (9:00am-4:00pm)
Marching Band Kick Off Performance – August 14th 6:00 pm. Dinner will be provided to the students between marching band camp and the kick off performance. Students will remain at school until after the performance. Family and Friends are invited to watch the performance on the NHS football field starting at 6:00 pm.
TIMB Meeting
The next TIMB meeting will be both in person and via zoom on Monday August 11th. The gathering will be begin at 6:00 pm with the meeting starting at 6:30 pm. Please email TIMB.president@gmail.com for more information.
