8/15/24 - Marching Band Kickoff Performance

MARCHING BAND KICKOFF CELEBRATION & PERFORMANCE, THURSDAY, AUGUST 15th at 6:00PM
Join us at the Northwood High Main Field for the Northwood Marching Band & Color Guard Kickoff Performance! Invite family, friends, NHS & TIMB alumni; everyone is welcome! Parents and friends, bring your chairs, arrive early to stake your spot and enjoy some shaved ice from Kona Ice, who will have refreshments available for purchase starting at 5:00pm. And be sure stop by the TIMB Welcome Table for band information, spiritwear, ice cold water and more!
Thursday’s Schedule:
9:00am-4:00pm: Last Day of Marching Band Camp
4:30pm: Dinner provided for Marching Band
5:00pm: Call time for students (STUDENTS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LEAVE BETWEEN CAMP AND THE PERFORMANCE)
5:00pm: Kona Ice available for purchase for family & friends
6:00pm: Kickoff Performance on the NHS Main Field

FIRST HOME GAME OF THE SEASON, FRIDAY, AUGUST 23rd, PORTOLA HIGH SCHOOL
5:30pm: Student call time, meet at Portola High School Gym
7:00pm: Kickoff

If you do not attend the game, please pickup your student in front of the gym at approximately 9:00pm.

SECOND HOME GAME OF THE SEASON AND MARCHING BAND PHOTO, FRI, AUG 30th, PORTOLA HIGH
4:30pm: Student call time, meet at Portola High School Gym
5:30pm: Marching Band Photo
7:00pm: Marching Band Performs National Anthem, Kickoff
Enjoy the second football game of the season! The students will have their photo taken at this game. Hear and see the Northwood Marching Band & Color Guard perform before, during, and after the game. Invite family, friends, NHS & TIMB alumni; everyone is welcome!

PARENTS: WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We have 300+ volunteer spots to fill for marching band: serving food, stadium setup, truck driving, assisting with uniforms and taking photos and video. Help for 1-2 hours, or at every football game or performance. Volunteers receive free admission to games. Sign up HERE. Want to help, but not sure where? Contact TIMB.President@gmail.com.
