NHS ARTS PRESENTS “FREAKY FRIDAY”, 2/22-2/24
Come on out this week to see Northwood High School’s presentation of Freaky Friday, featuring a live pit orchestra! Showings are this Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 7pm, with a sensory friendly matinee showing at 2pm on Saturday. Click here to purchase tickets. Hope to see you there!

CSUF WINDS FESTIVAL, 3/2
Our Wind Ensemble and Wind Symphony bands will be joining high schools from across southern CA and performing at the CSUF Winds Festival on Saturday, 3/2. Friends and family are welcome and encouraged to come watch us perform at 4:30pm in Meng Hall. The concert is free!

FREE SPRING FESTIVAL CONCERTS, 3/6 & 3/7
Spring is coming a little early to Northwood! Join us on Wednesday, 3/6 and Thursday, 3/7 for two evenings of live music, presented by our bands and orchestras. All concerts are FREE and will be held in the Northwood High School Theater.

All Bands: Wednesday, March 6th at 7:00pm
All Orchestras: Thursday, March 7th at 7:00pm
If you are a Charter Oak level KMA donor, please check-in by 6:45pm for early seating

We need a few volunteers to hand out programs and direct people to their seats at both concerts. Please sign up here if you are able to help. You will be a ble to reserve your seats early. Thank you for our support!

MARCHING BAND UNIFORM CLEANING PREP, 3/9
We are looking for volunteers to help us prepare our 200+ marching band uniforms for cleaning. Please sign up here to help out on Saturday, March 9th from 9:00am-noon. Breakfast will be provided. The more help we have, the more quickly we will finish!

RENO JAZZ FESTIVAL, 4/25-4/28
Hey jazzers! The first payment for the Reno Jazz Festival trip is now due. Payments should be turned into the black mailbox in Room 501. For more information or if you have any questions, please refer to the handout provided at the parent meeting or contact WhitneyTavlarides@IUSD.org.

2024 MARCHING BAND CAMP: SAVE THE DATES!
It’s never too early to start thinking about Marching Band! Online registration will begin in late March; watch your email for details. All events will be held on campus at NHS. ALL students, and all levels of music experience, are welcome; please share with friends! BAND CAMP IS REQUIRED FOR ALL MARCHING BAND AND COLOR GUARD PARTICIPANTS.

2023 MARCHING BAND CAMP* – August 8th, 9th, 12th-15th, 9am-4pm
LEADERSHIP***– August 6th & 7th (9am-3:30pm)
NEW MEMBERS** – August 7th (12:30-3:30pm)
